A Greenville, SC native, Dr. Shigley moved to Charleston for college and like many others, fell in love with the Lowcountry. So much so that he planted roots there, living in Charleston for nearly 13 years as he completed college, dental school and residency. He met his wife while attending the Medical University of South Carolina James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine. They were married just before graduation, him from dental school and her from law school.
Upon receiving his diploma, Dr. Shigley did a one-year rotation in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the renowned University of Maryland Health Center and Shock Trauma Center. In 2014, he returned to MUSC to complete a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. During his final year of training, Dr.Shigley was appointed chief resident. Today, he feels incredibly fortunate to have trained at two high-quality and high-volume programs that helped him hone his unique skill set. Dr. Shigley attained a high level of expertise in training in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, full arch rehabilitation, orthognathic jaw surgery, oral pathology and TMJ surgery.
Dr. Allen Lollis, DMD, has been providing patients of South Carolina with exceptional general, implant, and cosmetic dentistry for many years. A native of Greenville, Dr. Lollis enjoys serving patients and the community of his home state. As an expert in the field of implant dentistry, Dr. Lollis’s commitment is to provide his patients with the highest quality dental care and treatment while staying on top of the latest advancements in implant dentistry.
